So i just got off the phone with Apple head of something in Australia. Not too sure actually.
So on friday, I got an Apple Universal dock. I thought this enabled TV out from the line out jack, just like i interpreted some of the documentation on the apple website. It didn’t So anyway, to make a long story short, I emailed Steve Jobs on Friday night, with an angry letter.
This afternoon, I got a call from a person representing Apple in Australia. He had tracked me down through my email address, and Apple ID. Remember to always read Privacy Policies. He’s going to send me the cable that I was meant to buy, free of charge, through the mail. I should get it on Wednesday or so, if they had one there, or they may be ordering it in.

We’ve all been waiting for this game for months: J-Lo 3 from Microsoft. Midnight launches, people buying new computers just to play it. Well, all this agonizing waiting will soon be all over, because tonight, the game is released. I’ll have an update to tell you if this game lives up to the hype. For now, get a J-Lo 3 Phone Wallpaper.
UPDATE: The game was released! Here’s a link. Definitley worth the wait.
An overlooked release, iPod games are now available for the iPod Classic and iPod Nano with Video. Here’s the iTunes Link.
In other news, my family have downloaded so much that our internet speed has been throttled to 64Kbps, that’s bits not bytes. Lowsy ISP. Therefore, I won’t be blogging much in the next few weeks. I’m also going away to see relatives (don’t worry, I like my relatives- No evil grandpas involved) (not that there were any) during the seccond week of next month.
Recently, I picked up a new iPod nano 3rd Generation. Why? The interface is sweet, cover flow is impressive and it fits in my pocket better that the 2G.
The Good: Battery life for audio, cover flow, the new UI and the screen.
The Bad: Video Battery Life, easily scratched.
Overall: Alright, not enough battery though. 4.5/5
I just got back from our road trip to avoid the APEC conference. It was agonizing. You see, the night before the day I left, I watched the Apple keynote liveblog. I wanted to buy a nano 3rd generation after that.
So I got back about 3 hours ago, and I went to the shop, and bought one. First thing I noticed: Freaking Schweeet!!
The coverflow is a bit slow, but the new UI is such a relief. I can now also play video, which is a feature I’ve wanted for AGES!!
I’ll post a more detailed review in the coming days, but it just finished charging. goodbye!
Okay, so TPG just reconnected my internet with ADSL2+, and is’s extremely fast. The bad news: i’m going on holiday until Monday. Sorry guys, I’ll be back next week.
